I just discovered Microsoft released a new version for it's network sniffer, you can download it signing in to the Microsoft Connect WebSite and participate in the product.
Key features of Microsoft Network Monitor 3.0 include:
- A completely new user interface
- Real time capture and display of frames
- A new script-based protocol parser language, and script-based parsers
- Support for Vista/Windows XP/Windows Server 2003
Compared to the most important network sniffing tool called Wireshark, you don't need WinPCAP (external network libraries). You can even run multiple simultaneous capture sessions. The output of the tool is clearly arranged and easy-to-read.
