After configuring PHP on IIS6, I was unable to send mail using GMail obtaining error:
unable to connect to smtp.gmail.com:465
The problem is caused by missing SSL and TLS support into Registered Stream Socket Transports (detected using phpinfo).
To configure it, just copy ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll to %systemroot%\System32 folder.
